
The Bluehouse Festival is a biennial arts and culture festival created in 2006 that takes place in the heart of Oxted, Surrey. Previous festivals have included appearances by Andy Hamilton, Mike D'Abo, Sebastian Faulks and Dennis Norden.
The Snelling Lecture ( named in honour of Irene Snelling, whose bequest to the URC made the Festival possible) is a lecture delivered on a delivered by a distinguished speaker on a topical issue of interest. Past deliverers of the Lecture have included David Olusoga, Rev. Richard Coles, Baroness Shirley Williams and BBC journalist George Alagiah.
