Returning to Swansea via ‘Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’, Dave’s ‘One Night Stand’ and numerous appearances on Comedy Central is multi-award winning comedian ANDREW LAWRENCE. On March 1st, following on from our SOLD OUT Rufus Hound gig, The Clown’s Pocket Comedy Club @ Whitez brings you another top draw comedian, on your doorstep at prices you can afford.

A regular in the BBC3 hit series Ideal, Andrew’s live performances have gained international recognition as he has played at all the top comedy festivals enjoying mass critical acclaim. He has twice performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and at the 2009 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. He has performed five consecutive all-new solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival - two of which were nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Awards - where he consistently plays to sell out audiences and receives rave reviews

Andrew heads up an absolute top draw line-up for March’s gig with support from Welsh comedian WES PACKER who won the UK's most prestigious comedy newcomer award So You Think You're Funny in 2005 and went on to perform at the Montreal Comedy Festival, Reading and Leeds Music Festivals an appearing on ITV’s ‘Glee Time’ and Comedy Central’s ‘The World Stand’s Up’. He enigmatically retired at the top of his game in 2008 and has returned turbo charged to take on the world of comedy in 2011.

Also starring is Swansea comedian Greg Rogers who is the resident compere at the Swansea Grand comedy nights. As well as performing stand-up brilliantly he has also written and produced his own comedy play performed at the Grand.
