FESTIVAL OF THE SPOKEN NERD: "Big Stuff"
Musical comedian Helen Arney, stand-up mathematician Matt Parker and Blue Peter science expert (and comedian) Steve Mould come together to create for you another Festival of the Spoken Nerd.
It's a celebration of science, comedy and unashamed geekiness, with special science and comedy headliners. There will be time for questions at the end, and extra marks are given for showing your workings.
After taking the show on a group field trip to the Cambridge Science Festival, we're back. Helen Arney, Matt Parker and Steve Mould will be looking at big stuff. Really big stuff. Big stuff that exists on earth. And stuff beyond the boundaries of this floating piece of greeny-blue space debris that we call home. Stuff that's somewhere out there in the incomprehensibly huge universe. Basically, if it's massive, we'll be talking about it.
Bringing on the science will be UCL solar researcher Dr Lucie Green - as seen on BBC Stargazing Live. Our comedy headliner is stand-up Yianni Agisilaou, whose 2010 Edinburgh Fringe show 'The Universe - A User's Guide' took on everything from the Big Bang to the Large Hadron Collider.
