British Guitar Academy launch event

Event information

Four different guitarists, each one an expert in their field, will talk about their experiences and how they evolved as a musician. This will include advice on writing, recording and touring. It will also include demonstrations of advanced techniques with various tips on establishing your own sound and identity.
There will be invaluable advice for players of all abilities who want to advance their playing and their career.
Each player will give a master class of approximately 45 minutes followed by a short Q & A.
The doors open at 1.30pm with the clinics running from 2pm to around 6pm.

Matt Prior - guitarist / producer with Bonnie Tyler and tv & film music composer
Rob Harris - guitarist with Jamiroquai since 2000, writing and performing on their last 4 albums . Has also played with The Pasadenas, Mark Owen (Take That), Kylie Minogue, Beverly Knight and Don Airey (Deep Purple)
Daniel Steinhardt – Daniel Steinhardt brings to the BGA a wealth of knowledge and experience in ‘guitar-sonics’ from pedals, amps and everything in between. He is a co-founder of TheGigRig.com, a company that designs systems that allow guitarists to reach their ‘tone potential' and has Dan dealing with internationally renowned artists on a daily basis. Dan also writes for ‘Guitar Buyer’ magazine, reviewing pedals and amps as well as his monthly ‘Pawn Stars’ column. Dan has toured around the world and was Max Sharam's guitarist for many years. His latest musical project, Tin Spirits teams him up with XTC’s axe toting genius Dave Gregory and they'll be releasing their debut album this March.
