Back on tour with legendary comedian Ted Chippington, Nightingales formed in 1979 from the remains of Brum's original punk band, The Prefects. Quickly becoming John Peel faves they released two LPs and several singles. Reformed in 2004 with three great new albums and still fronted by Robert Lloyd, their current lineup includes Alan Apperley (The Prefects), Daren Garratt (Pram), Andreas Schmid (Faust Studio) and 'former teen sensation' Matt Wood.

DJ Ian Part Time plays punk and garage tunes.
