Recent Press
Artrocker: "deceptively deadpan songs often mutate into noisy but controlled thrashing. (Cockpit) is a particularly fine tune."
Ally Gourlay (Leith FM): "smallgang are brilliant"
God Is In The TV: "certain clockwork precision, howls of guitar noise over angular melodies, with two vocalists lending either an arch-Neil Hannon vibe on songs like Cockpit or a touch of Ian Curtis on others. "
The Line Of Best Fit: "Great record"
Time Out: "Stylish art rockers "

Something Beginning With L
www.myspace.com/somethingbeginningwithl
Something Beginning With L are a bewitching trio made up of Lucy Parnell (Vocals, Guitar), Jen Macro (Vocals, Guitar) and Jon Clayton (Bass, Keys). The band juxtaposes scuzzy electric guitars and acoustic fragility with electro beats and indie-rock ethics, guided into the light by the salient crystalline vocals of Lucy Parnell and Jen Macro who offer blissed-out close harmonies over the band's melancholy and absorbing dream-pop.
