ZONG ZING are one of London's most charismatic and dynamic dance bands
Zong Zing is a Congolese expression meaning “All Stars” and that describes the 9 piece band well.They play uplifting Cavacha dance music, the core rhythm of Central African music that has given rise to ‘Soukous’ in the Democratic Republic of Congo, ‘Makosa’ ...in Cameroon and ‘Coupez Decallez’ in the Ivory Coast. Songs are sung primarily in Lingala. Core members previously played with Taxi Pata Pata
