Acoustic Stage

MJ Hibbett
http://www.myspace.com/mjhibbett
Having performed live on Radio One, had a Record Of The Year in Rolling Stone, an Album Of The Day on 6Music, released one of the first ever viral videos, toured up and down the UK and even featured in an Edinburgh Fringe Festival show, and all while maintaining complete independence from record labels, Hibbett is old school indie, belligerently optimistic, and will have a pint.

Your New Friend
http://www.myspace.com/yournewfriendband
Named after an obscure Smog song, this new acoustic duo features ultra baritone voiced Simon Kobayashi from smallgang, with Sun Kil Moon-esque guitar workouts from Alex Carter (Armchair Songs). They play incredibly pretty songs with a rare level of skill and complexity.

Rica Minami aka "Kuaigora" http://www.myspace.com/ricaminami
London based ex-Hanjiro front lady Rica's solo material is cinematically grand with pounding pianos, floaty vocals and dreamy melodies. Now playing with a full band, expect to be swept away by a wave of Japanese psychedelic indie pop, strong visuals and super energy.

Toshi (smallgang/Mordros)
http://www.damnably.com/smallgang/
One of smallgangs 2 front men, Toshi plays heartfelt intricate, catchy, distorto post-punk songs in this rare solo outing.
Time Out: “Stylish art rockers “

Rebekah Delgado
http://www.myspace.com/rebekahdelgado
An integral part of the DIY scene in London Town throughout the 00s. The two previous bands she fronted have collected assorted accolades including numerous plays on Radio 1 (including being record of the week), XFM playlisting, plays on MTV, MTV2, Kerrang TV, BBC London record of the week, best of Myspace Sept '08 and many plays on BBC6.)
Marsha Shandur, XFM DJ: "A lady who has a sweet and engaging singing voice. She also has this sexy, breathy way of half-talking in some bits. She sounds hot. Especially when she's speaking French..."
