Event information

For the last few years Gill Sandell has been the accordionist and flautist with Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo (who have recently provided the title music for the BBC2 Drama series 'The Shadow Line'), and has featured on all three of their albums. She is also known for her collaborations with many other bands and musicians, including The Broken Family Band, Timothy Victor's Folk Orchestra, Magoo and Chris T-T. In November 2010, she released her long-awaited debut solo album 'Tarry Awhile' - a delicate collection of songs, shedding new light on her musicianship as she crafts exquisite arrangements around guitar and piano lines. The musicians in Gill's live band are Anna Jenkins, Jen Macro, Emily Barker and Ed Hopwood - together they are 'The Gill Sandell Experience'!"
