The ground-breaking all-female Japanese, pop-punk trio formed in Osaka in 1981 when Naoko first heard THE RAMONES. The band crafted their own idiosyncratic songs, fashioned brightly coloured outfits and DIY albums.
They toured with NIRVANA, THE BREEDERS and as part of LOLLAPALOOZA. They recorded Peel sessions, even appeared on 'Beavis & Butthead' and spent the late 80s-early 90s on labels such as SUB POP and CAPITOL, paving the way for other Japanese bands to find recognition with international audiences. They return with a brand new album 'Free Time' out now on Damnably.
