R. STEVIE MOORE was born 1952 in Nashville, Tennessee to famed Elvis Bass player Bob Moore. Since 1966, R. STEVIE MOORE has recorded nearly 2,000 songs on over 400 very original homemade albums of alarmingly idiosyncratic variety and styles, often considered a seminal pioneer in the DIY ethic.

He has worked on numerous collaborations with a variety of musicians and artists including long-term admirer/disciple ARIEL PINK, DAVID SHIRGLEY, MGMT, JAD FAIR, and MIKE WATT.

Remaining virtually unknown, he quietly resided in New Jersey as curator of his own museum, until now! R. STEVIE MOORE - back in Tennessee, loudly shouting and about to embark on his first ever full length tour of the UK and Europe and with a new album in the pipeline to boot!
