ROBIN GREY : In a small white room with a blue door tucked away in a leafy corner of Hackney, Robin makes music. Inspired by the timeless work of Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, and Ani Difranco amongst many others, he colours in his songs about love and life with guitar, banjo, ukulele, mandolin, piano, double bass, organ, percussion toys and any other instruments he can afford and fit into his little studio. His music has been described as 'gently experimental nu-folk' and compared to Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Richard Thompson and Harry Chaplin - he is a bit distressed by the misspelling of the word 'new' but doesn't let it distract him from the serious business of recording, performing, and acquiring new and unusual instruments. Robin has released two albums 'Only The Missile' and 'Strangers With Shoes' on creative commons label 'modifythevan', both receiving excellent reviews in the blogsphere. He is very lucky to have recently acquired a superb backing group and is currently !
discovering the joys and frustrations of having his own band. "Robin Grey has a lovely fresh approach to the folk genre. A honeyed yet clear voice and his lyrics are arresting. A real treasure." The Londonist ... "Beautiful songs, the thoughtful Grey sings in a deep English voice that gives his songs a sweeping and poetic quality." Stop Okay Go ... "The poetic mastery of Grey's anti-folk tales is a joy to behold." The Camden New Journal ..... "in case I haven't made myself clear, Robin Grey has talent coming out of his ears" Catching The Waves.

BEC SANDRIDGE : "We came across Bec's songs on a last minute rush to complete our lovely line up. We suddenly felt like she incredibly belonged to what we meant. Bec's music is nothing more than a genuine, fresh and delicate simplicity, what everyone think is easy to be reached and only a few, after all, can really catch. Red Jumper and Worst Ghost are what we'll call memories. Songs that settle down. A cute emotional path between traveling and whispering" (btzk) Learning the guitar at the chubby age of 15, Australian singer-songwriter, Bec Sandridge (now 20), has taken to the likes of folk melodies and muttered ramblings inspired by artists: Bon Iver, Feist, Bombay Bicycle Club and Laura Marling. In 2008, forming the female-led band Mad Polly alongside songstress Melissa Creagan, venues throughout New South Wales and Melbourne can now be plastered all over their biographies, playing with many well-established artists including the Custom Kings, Matthew Barber, Owl!
Eyes, Skipping Girl Vinegar, FisherKing, Ashleigh Mannix, YellowFever, and Adalita (Magic Dirt). Featuring as YEN mag's 'upcoming artist' (online), hitting the charts the iTunes Australian singer-songwriter category with her DEBUT EP 'What was left' and embarking on her first UK

Plenty of "small gigs" are daily booked in London and lots of "big shows" take place in the capital every night. The BTZK community unveils itself with 4 "small shows", cause there's something wrong in what they call "gig" and something delicate in what is "small", something distracting in what is "big" and something interesting in what is supposed to be a show. 8 different London based storytellers and musicians will be on stage looking at how deep is the sound of a listener. 8 different amazing stories of stories. 4 nights to help songs to come back to their lawful owner. Listener. It's up to you. You can turn this step into the frst of a long walk...There's much more to tell.
