Oxford-based music fundraiser Audioscope celebrates eleven years of raising funds for housing and homelessness charity Shelter this November, bringing together some of the most exciting bands from Oxford and across the UK to the intimate confines of the Jericho in north Oxford.
The Audioscope festival on Saturday 12 November will be headlined by West Virginian desert rock legends Karma To Burn, bringing the festival to a close with an hour of uncompromising stoner rock instrumentals.
Other highlights include: Brighton's krautrock-influenced dance-pop outfit and BBC 6music favourites Fujiya & Miyagi; ATP Recordings star Alexander Tucker, one of the most exciting and innovative solo artists around; Cardiff-based art-rockers The Victorian English Gentlemen's Club; doom electronica specialists Necro Deathmort, one of the highlights of last year's Supersonic Festival; and Bletchley's Glenn Branca-inspired noise band Action Beat, who can feature up to six guitarists and two drummers.
The festival also boasts some of Oxford's best talent in the form of Spring Offensive, The Cellar Family and Listing Ships.
