We're mighty pleased to welcome The Hazey Janes back to Brighton in support of their shimmering new album 'The Winter That Was', out now on Armellodie Records.

The Hazey Janes are an power-pop band from Dundee, Scotland. Formed around 1999 by guitarist Andrew Mitchell and bass player Matthew Marra, the band's music is a fusion of country-rock and power-pop, with a penchant for heavy harmonies, reminiscent of the likes of Big Star, Velvet Crush and The Posies.

The last few years have seen the band tour extensively throughout the UK, performing both as headlining artists and as support of several major acts such as Elbow, Idlewild, Brakes, berfeldy and Gorky's Zygotic Mynci.
