Oxjam Islington Takeover 2011...the sound of something happening.....

The Oxjam Islington Takeover is a multi-venue one-wristband-gives-access-to-all event (think Camden Crawl).

Oxjam Islington will be happening on 22nd October 2011 at the following venues, The Islington Assembly Hall, The Library, The Hope & Anchor, The Kings Head Theatre Pub, The Slug & Lettuce, The Wenlock & Essex and The Old Queens Head.

As well as interactive dance lessons and workshops in the Assembly Hall, Acts include Matt Stevens, The Jude, Bow Street Revolt, My Preserver, Troubadour Rose, The Bookhouse Boys, Sweetie Pie & The Guttermen, Akayzia, Allen Smith, Andi Fraggs, Goat Patrol, Huw Price, JD Smith, Ramirez, Rhino & The Ranters, Swing Patrol, Venice Ahoy, Vintage Fly Crew, Louisubsole & Breezy Lee, The Winter Olympics, The Superficial, The Good Suns, Ae-mess, Sister Mary & The Choir Boys, Xsara, Victor Talking Machine, The Twisted Hearts, The Tomorrow Men, The Institute of Modern Love, The Standards, Shake The Belly, Elliot Mason, Static Plan, King with no Throne, Andrew McKay, Antonio Lepore, Halcyon Heart, HPM, Antoine Jarette, M.O.T, Nukebnana, Haywire Saint, Burlesque from Aurora Galore, Lady Cave, Queen V, Asahi Lashes, VJ Spankie, Ambellina Dreamer plus many more acts to be announced along with a very special guest!

Your ticket will be exchanged for a wristband on the day at The Islington Assembly Hall - this will allow access to all Oxjam Islington Takeover Festival venues (subject to capacity of individual venues). Please note, under 18s are only allowed into The Assembly Hall. ID will be required on the day, when collecting your wristband.

Money raised from the Takeover will go towards helping Oxfam fight poverty through their emergency response work, development projects and campaigns for change.
