Red Deer Club are pleased to announce the forthcoming release of ‘Hair Of The Dog’
A full length album of the material from Jonnie Common’s debut album 'Master Of None' remixed by an amazing bunch of his personal favourites. The track-listing will be revealed in a couple of weeks, but what I can tell you right now is that it will be available as a Download + Ltd Edition screen print by the wonderful David Galletly.
David is responsible for the headless dog on the cover of ‘Master Of None’ and has produced 50 signed+numbered screen prints on white card. We'll be stamping download codes on the back of these prints and selling them to you at the kamikaze price of £5.
Despite the track-listing still being under wraps, pre-orders are now being taken over at the Red Deer Club webshop.
To launch the remix album, we have a whole weekend of showing off lined up @ Mono in Glasgow.
Nov 25-27: David Galletly exhibition:
David is an artist, illustrator and graphic designer living in Glasgow. After gaining his degree and feeling a little burned-out by sitting in front of too many computers, he turned back to his old love of drawing. David began working as a freelance artist soon after and has exhibited throughout the world. Currently part of Team Recoat and a regular contributor to the art direction of much-loved Fence Records, David’s work is laced with charm.
Nov 25-27: Jonnie Common sound installation:
Jonnie Common has worked with Zero Waste Design to produce an interactive sound installation that lets users mix the elements of his debut album 'Master Of None' with the added potential for lo-fi surround sound to be achieved.
Nov 27: Exhibition closing party / album launch:
Live sets from BEN BUTLER & MOUSEPAD + DEMS + GRNR
and special guest DJ sets from FOUND + THE JAPANESE WAR EFFORT
It is going to be more fun than £4 should buy you.
