The Half Rabbits
Hailing from Oxford, the 2 girl/2 boy Half Rabbits sound like a fusion of all our favourite bands, so we are super delighted they are playing a Daisy Rodgers night as part of their EP launch! A selection of their many influences hints at their epic indie/rock sound - Smashing Pumpkins, Joy Division, Editors, Interpol. Early this year they recorded their new EP, 'Optimists', with Jesus & Mary Chain and Primal Scream's producer/engineer. Their live performances can be categorised as'must see' and after recently storming the O2 Academy, see them at the more intimate surroundings of the Jericho Tavern. Check out "We'll Sleep Again".

Deer Chicago
Deer Chicago are an indie-rock three piece from Oxford combining post-rock soundscapes with driving vocals. They've spent the summer writing new tracks and with the release date for their next single 'Lantern Collapse' set for 3rd November, this is one of the first chances to hear the new tunes. Definitely for fans of 'We Were Promised Jetpacks' and those that like the noisier side of Snow Patrol or Fell City Girl. Track down "Frozen Globe, Freezing Teeth".

The Graceful Slicks
If 'The Doors' were still going in 2011 and they were asked to soundtrack a Tarantino movie they would sound like The Graceful Slicks. The young five piece have garnished a significant following having only been playing together for a couple of years. The 60s influences are strong but their sound is very much 21st Century. Having recorded a number of our favourite tunes in 2011 we are v excited they've agreed to play for us. Check out 'Black and Blue' or 'Bul Bul Tarang'.
