Saint Etienne and Heavenly Films present
"What Have You Done Today Mervyn Day?"
Directed by Paul Kelly
What Have You Done Today Mervyn Day? (2005) continues Saint Etienne's ongoing fascination with the city of London and its diverse array of
people, space and places. Directed by Paul Kelly, this superb documentary explores East London's neglected Lower Lea Valley, beautifully
capturing the areas' last moments before it undergoes a major redevelopment programme that will transform it from a derelict wasteland into the
site for the 2012 Olympic Games. (running time 46 minutes).

"Drift Street"
A short film by Michael Smith, the writer and presenter of BBC's 'Drivetime' and 'Citizen Smith'.
Michael says: Drift Street is the first thing I’ve directed. If the Culture Shows are “picture essays” then Drift Street is a kind of “picture-poem”, more open-ended, less constrained by linear narrative. It was commissioned for the Floating Cinema as part of the Create Festival, which promotes the cultural life of the East End.
