*Spacetacular!* - quite possibly the first stand-up comedy/science/fancy dress/variety/quiz show entirely themed around outer space - is back! And this time we're exploring new frontiers with Space Cinema...
Come to this friendly enthusiasm-fest about the cosmos - as award-winning comedian and creator of BBC Radio 4's *It Is Rocket Science!* Helen Keen & Londonist editor and all-round space nerd Matt Brown introduce you to guests from the world of comedy and science and present the legendary space quiz! (with space prizes!)
Our guests this month are: Catie Wilkins - one of Dave's Top 10 stand-ups to catch; Radmila Topalovic - from the Royal Observatory, Greenwich; Gareth Jones - presenter of ITV's inspirational classic How 2 and captain of Get Fresh's Milennium Dustbin (how exciting is that!?) and Kevin Fong - space medicine expert and frequent presenter on shows such as Horizon and Space Shuttle: Final Mission.
As usual our guests will be talking about their love of space and we encourage them & audience members alike to dress up and bring along their own space stuff - we have a quick fire memorabilia show and tell... Plus! Space costumes aplenty and free tinfoil to augment/create your look...
Tonight's show will culminate with a special screening of *She Should Have Gone To The Moon* presented by the director Ulrike Kubatta. This award-winning film is set against the USA and USSR's competition for supremacy in space, and tells the true story of the extraordinary aviator who might have been the first woman in space....
You're welcome to come as you are (of course!) or come in space costume and get £1 off entry (but please ensure that your antennae/tentacles do not obscure the screen)!
