Event information
The Modern Ovens are the UKs premier Jonathan Richman covers band, comprised of members of British Sea Power, Brakes, Actress Hands and The Tenderfoot. Jonathan Richman himself says, "They sound like a pretty cool band." Expect all the hits, from Roadrunner to Ice Cream Man.
Support comes from schizo garage punk outfit Arrows of Love + psychedelic poppers Flash Bang Band and Private Trousers, plus DJs spinning Richman-inspired tunes all night.
NB There will be a small allocation of tickets on the door for £6 once advance tickets have sold out. But arrive early to avoid missing out!
