Beautiful Events host Mike Mackay's 2012 Virgin London Marathon Party Fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis Trust

Beautiful Events, the exclusive event management specialist, is hosting Mike Mackay's 2012 Virgin London Marathon Party Fundraiser', at the fresh and funky venue, The Brickhouse, The Old Truman Brewery, 152c Brick Lane, London, E1 6RU, on March 29th http://www.thebrickhouse.co.uk

Mike has Cystic Fibrosis and benefited from a transplant three years ago. Mike wanted to test himself to the limit by running the Virgin London Marathon to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Mike said "I have never run a marathon before, or had much sporting experience at all, but I thought this would be a challenge worth doing. I wanted to show off my new life with my new lungs and I wanted to do something that could help the charity that supports the people like me living with the disease. The CF Trust also funds research to find a treatment that could help people with CF live longer and better lives."

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is a great charity, that does inspirational work and Beautiful Events are delighted to be able to help Mike Mackay and the Trust to continue to do just that.

Jamie Ndah, Managing Director at Beautiful Events, says, "Mike Mackay is an absolute inspiration and we are all very excited by the evening as it promises to be a fantastic party.

Our aim is to help raise much needed awareness and funds for Mike and the CF Trust. I hope this will help inspire Mike in his Marathon effort, the party will have the Beautiful Events trademark 'wow factor' Mike is hoping to raise at least £2500.

"We've called upon the world of TV, music, media, fashion, arts, entertainment, corporate and so much more to join together at the Brickhouse to pay homage and help raise much needed funds and awareness for this outstanding charity."

Entertainment will consist of 'We Are Legend' - Legends of past and present combine in a culmination of cabaret, song, aerial and dance, lifting Brick Lane into a frenzy of nostalgic celebration .

After the cabaret show top London DJ's will then be playing the very best of 80s, 90s, 00s, RnB, Funky House and Club Classics until late. The perfect soundtrack for this uber cool party!

An AMAZING raffle will be available to all guests that attend the party on the night.
