Acclaimed Texan duo Charalambides play a beautiful cosmic blend of psychedelic, soulful, blues, folk, country and beyond. described by The Wire as “the most beautiful and mysterious groups to have emerged from the American desert” and Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth said “I never heard anyone quite as vulnerable and as strong. It's kind of magical. I never get tired of listening to it”. Support comes from experimental folk duo Padang Food Tigers whose fans include David Tibert of Current 93. Opening the night is former Vibracathedral Orchestra and The Telescopes member Bridget Hayden.
