Event information

Chaos Theory and Zos Kia Sounds Recordings are proud to present a special evening of improvisation, experimentation and collaborations, all for charity. All profits will go to Oxfam.

VULTURES QUARTET
An improvisation group, which mixes electro-acoustic, dark ambient, free jazz and industrial, utilising conventional instruments played unconventionally, open-source software, found objects, homemade instruments and electronics. The core members Will Connor, Matt Chilton and Anthony Donovan always have a revolving fourth member, who tonight will include JO QUAIL and ANTON MOBIN.

We will also be seeing solo sets, collaborations and improvisations from:

JO QUAIL
Incredible cellist whose use of loops and effects creates spine tingling atmospheric sounds and heart rending melodies. Star of the extremely successful event From The Sea To The Desert last October.

ANTON MOBIN
Paris-based artist who has developed his use of the radiophone over decades. Through his manipulation and intuitive shaping of sounds, Anton creates haunting sonic pulses that have earned him a large name across France, Belgium, Germany, Portugal and the USA.

ROSEN-WAKEFORD AND M.
This project features Tony Wakeford from Sol Invictus (chamber music, folk, punk and industrial noise) with his wife Renee on violin and Jo Quail on cello, performing ambient gothic music.
