Baz Luhrmann lit a rocket under Shakespeare’s well-known tale of star-cross'd lovers: swapped daggers for guns, 'fair Verona' for Verona beach, and sent his camera careering across beautiful and lurid sets, following Leonardo di Caprio’s Romeo and Clare Danes’s Juliet to a pumping soundtrack of Radiohead, Des’ree, The Cardigans and more.
