P | Thursday 14th June, 2012 |

On June 14th 2012, Spring Offensive are teaming up with Oxfork to bring you their biggest Oxford show to date. It will be taking place in the stunning surroundings of St Barnabas Church in Jericho.
If you buy an advanced ticket, we're also going to give you a six-track live acoustic EP, free of charge. The recordings were taken live during some Spring Offensive shows in peoples' living rooms at the end of April. They'll find their way to you with your confirmation email - we hope you enjoy.
SPRING OFFENSIVE (9:15pm) // Oxford's own Spring Offensive, fresh from releasing the single Worry Fill My Heart and touring the UK and Europe, are a guitar band with a difference. They base their sound around driving rhythms, wide-screen harmonies and heartfelt lyrics. With a busy festival season ahead, this is their only headline show of the summer. We promise it'll be something special.
Also playing are two of the most incredible bands we've come across this year:
COUNT DRACHMA (8.30pm) // This band has one of the most original sounds of any act currently operating in Oxford. Formed by Johannesburg-born brothers and Stornoway members Ollie and Rob Steadman, Count Drachma's references points include the likes of Johnny Clegg's bands Juluka and Savuka, as well as the Sengalese act Orchestra Baobab. Imagine Manu Chao singing in Zulu to an accompaniment from Andrew Bird - or form your own opinion at http://www.facebook.com/CountDrachma. And as if the band weren't awesome enough already, Ollie is single-handedly writing the Zulu Wikipedia. We're glad he's made time to do this show.
ALL WE ARE (7.45pm) // The music that this Liverpool-based band make is delicate and dark, oppressive yet as comforting as a warm embrace. It would be a huge understatement to say that playing with them earlier this year was one of the highlights of our tour. Fans of Other Lives's percussive momentum, Mechanical Bride's delicate folk, and the live intensity of Low absolutely must catch All We Are's set. Their new EP, 'We Hunt', is out now, and we thoroughly recommend giving them a listen at http://www.facebook.com/thisisallweare. A genuinely amazing act.
There will be a fantastic virgin bar courtesy of Oxfork, who will also be selling some characteristically tasty bites for your delectation. The show is open to all ages.
