P | Saturday 30th June, 2012 |
N | 8:00pm |
Have you ever wanted to see a stunningly beautiful Baz Luhrmann film, while sitting in the magnificent gardens of a Grade I listed building in Soho?
Experience Moulin Rouge in the heart of what was London's very own French Quarter, in an intimate and historic place you might never otherwise stumble upon.
Ewan McGregor stars as Christian, who meets the absinthe- and alcohol-addicted Toulouse-Lautrec (John Leguizamo) at The Moulin Rouge dance hall in 1890s Montmartre. Star courtesan Satine (Nicole Kidman) becomes the star of the play Christian is writing, which parallels the couple's romance and uses rock music from a century later, including songs by Nirvana, Madonna, the Beatles, and Queen.
Tickets include not only the chance to see this great film in a unique setting, but also a complimentary drink and delicious nibbles on arrival. You will also be supporting The House of St Barnabas which helps those affected by homelessness to regain, and importantly retain, employment.
Please note: the audio for this screening will be via wireless headphones, due to sound restrictions in the garden and to give you optimal sound quality.
