"There was music from my neighbor's house through the summer nights. In his blue gardens men and girls came and went like moths among the whisperings and the champagne and the stars..."
Welcome to Long Island, and welcome to the Roaring Twenties. For just one decadent night this July, Vauxhall becomes the scene of one of Jay Gatsby's notorious "gleaming and dazzling" parties.
Step into West Egg at the Tea House Theatre, where you'll be met with gin fizz and a golden era spread of spiced glazed hams, Waldorf salad and more. We've got an exciting line-up of Jazz Age entertainment and readings in the making too and, as always, positively encourage you to get into the swing and dress up - be you a Tom, Daisy, Myrtle, Nick Carraway or the infamous JG himself.
With Baz Luhrman's film arriving at the end of the year, not to mention the production of 'Gatz' at the National Theatre this summer, we've all got F. Scott Fitzgerald fever. Don your costume jewels and flapper dresses, gel your hair and fix your bowties for a night of edible opulence chez Gatsby.
£35/head including welcome drink, canapes, buffet spread and entertainment. Arrive for drinks at 8pm to eat at 8.30pm, then dance into the night...
