Al Lewis is a critically acclaimed singer-songwriter from North Wales whose sound is reminiscent of the classic singer-songwriters of the 70s delivered with a modern twist.
He has so far released the 'Welsh Music Prize' nominated album 'In the Wake' and two Welsh Language albums. His albums have spent multiple weeks at number one in the Welsh Language album charts. A former Caffรจ Nero Artist of the Month, Al has gathered praise from eminent DJs such as BBC Radio 1's Huw Stephens and BBC Radio 2's Steve Lamacq and Bob Harris. He's also scooped the award for 'Best Male Artist' two years in a row (2011/12) at the BBC Radio Cymru Awards and has performed at Abbey Rd Studios as part of Abbey Road Debuts.
