***THE JAR FAMILY

A collective of five singer/song writers of various styles from folk to indie rock hailing from Hartlepool in the North East of England. With support slots reading like a whos who in Music from Alabama 3, Steve Craddock (Ocean Colour Scene) and The Charlatans to Jake Bugg, The Milk and Sunshine Underground already under their belt. Big things are coming for The Jar Family.

Debut single Poolie Strut, released in 2011 won Record Of The Year with Radio Six International with the second single In For A Penny also doing well nationwide on regional radio. Described by Radio Hartlepool as "The most requested track in our history" the debut single was also adopted by Hartlepool United Football club and was played before kick off at every home game of the 2011/12 season leading to regular chants of 'Nothing wrong with the way I walk' by the clubs supporters.

The Pioneers of Industrial Folk are heading back to Middlesbrough for another quality gig. Do you really want to miss this?

***THE BLUEBUDS - They are The Bluebuds, They are brothers whom hail from the north east of england, They have recently expanded from a duo to a band and the new sound it brings is pure class, although it is still very 'organic'!! Appearing tonight as a full band come and join their organic revolution for they mean every note and every word, they live and breathe this music and hope it shows.......do you like music to be real?? will ya join us??

***THE SMILES - Hottest new band to suddenly rock up on this beautiful scene. Having received airplay of their banging anthem 'Sail On' from Mr Tom Hingley of The Inspiral Carpets. The lads are bringing said song and an arsenal of others to Mint!. Imagine music sounding retro but with a fresh feel well no need to imagine come witness.

***THE MAGNIFICENT MINT! HOUSEBAND - Featuring the exceptional Boro talents of BRE MUSIQ and RIKKI DOOLAN. Bre Musiq is one of the fastest rising talents in this beautiful town. Combining soulful sound with heavenly harmonies, what a perfect member of the Mint House Band. Bre will be proudly joined by Joint Efforts very own Teesside Troubador Rikki Doolan who will be playing some of them electrifying riffs on his trusted guitar and who knows may even do a track or two. Let Rikkis sound fill you with goodness whilst Bre's harmonies envelope your heart. Expect some special guests and amazing music!
