BLUE ROSE CODE:
London-based / Edinburgh-born Blue Rose Code is singer/songwriter Ross Wilson's highly acclaimed folk-roots 'Caledonian soul' act who's highly anticipated debut album, 'North Ten' will be released this Autumn.
Blue Rose Code has enjoyed a snowballing of fans and followers since his debut double-A side single Love / Whitechapel gained critical acclaim upon its release in 2009. Ross was then chosen by hipster clothing brand Aubin & Wills as the subject of a documentary 'The Modern Craftsman' about the recording of his debut in Somerset (to be released this summer) he also blogs for the brand, is co-designing co-branded clothing and played a number of exclusive gigs in their stores.
With an ever-changing line-up of guitar, fiddle, banjo, female backing vocals and double bass, though often also performing pared-down and solo, Blue Rose Code is back on the road with a full UK tour!
“Imagine John Martyn meeting a young Van Morrison and being shipwrecked with bundle of Chet Baker records” - Balcony TV
HAYLEY COLLINS:
Hayley Collins is a singer songwriter from the North West. Her blend of angst ridden lyrics and punchy, powerful piano makes for an amazing musical experience.
"Originally hailing from the North-West of England, Hayley has brought her piano down to Bath where she is fast making a name for herself playing delicate songs with Tori Amos intensity as well as songs with all the wit and intelligence of the great Regina Spektor" - Noble Rust Recordings
DAVID SHURR:
David Shurr is a singer/songwriter from Preston, Lancashire whose mellow acoustic music carries a folk influence, inspired by varied artists from the likes of Bob Dylan to Nick Drake.
He has already achieved great success, notably earning himself the "Best Individual Performance" award in Tom Lee's national acoustic music competition 'Soundbase Festival', and was received into the Top 10 in Jamie Cullum's national competition 'The Big Audition', in search of "the next big name in live music".
After this, he released a 7-track EP, "With Love Like This", which is available on all major digital stores.
