Hyped 90s Hip-Hop / R&B / Garage night Supa Dupa Fly has become THE necessity in any 90’s music lovers diary since it's launch in March 2011, sowe thought it was only right to treat you to a Carnival special on the West side of town. Kicking off at 6pm, and a minutes walk from the main Carnival route, we take over the incredible Westbourne studios in Aklam Road to hit you with the biggest jams on their HUGE Funktion One sound system. Expect to hear everything 90s & early 2000s Hiphop / R&B / Garage & Carnival vibes from the likes of Biggie, 2pac, A Tribe Called Quest, Gang Starr, SWV, Destiny’s Child, Montell Jordan, Total, Donell Jones, Mj Cole, Wookie, Tuff Jam, Sticky & lots more! CJ Beatz is fast becoming the BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ to watch out for. Holding down the ‘The RnB M1X Show’ on Monday nights and waking up the nation every Sunday morning. You can also hear him on BBC Radio 1 for two hours hosting ‘The 1Xtra M1X’ every 6 weeks. CJ started as Hip-hop Dj for DMC, so he’ll be well placed to smash up the set at SDF! cjbeatz.net

Emily Rawson is one of the UK’s most in demand female Djs & promoters. She has recently dj’d at and curated stages at festivals including BBC Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend, The Camden Crawl, Lovebox & Rivington Street Festival. In March she did stint spinning in NYC where she supported NYC hiphop legend Rich Medina, and has recently done a guest mix for BBC Radio 1Xtra. She was also featured in Time Out as ‘meet the resident’ In April 2012. Emily has Dj’d for the likes of Saachi Gallery, Mathew Williamson, Conde Nast & Kanye West over the past few years.

Dj Cronikal will also be on the decks, and the night will be hosted by MC Fontz.
