UMEZ NIGHT II
UMEZ
A brand-new Japanese avant-garde band based in London. Their sound contains two completely opposite side of music genres, noise and pop. Although they’re two opposite music genres, their noise sound is purely heavy white noise meaning it matches perfectly with their pop sound reminding you the sorrow you feel in the end of the summer. Also, they’ve already supported a few influential artists such as Damo Suzuki (ex. Can) and Dee Dee (Dum Dum Girls) despite their short activity.

TEMPERATURES
Temperatures are a London-based psychedelic rock duo. Their live performance is totally improvised using an analog synth wired with drums and a bass to create krautrock-influenced noise rock. Their proper improvised psychedelic music even led Thurston Moore to say they’re his “favorite new band”. Also, amazingly, they’ll support Keiji Haino’s Fushitsusha in London in October.

SOBAMESHI AND PORNO
A psychedelic rock duo formed by the two guitarists from Bo Ningen. You can experience the experimental side of Bo Ningen when you see their side projects or solo projects and Sobameshi and Porno aren’t an exception. Unlike the activity of Bo Ningen, they only improvise and use analog instruments instead of guitars, as a result, their sound becomes religious ambient purely influenced by krautrock.

/ Hi / Zo / U / Bu / Tu
/ Hi / Zo / U / Bu /Tu is a solo project by a Japanese artist, Satoshi Yamada. His music is probably categorised as avant-garde, however, it’s difficult to say it surely is as his live performance is an improvisation in a true way. You cannot expect what’s going to happen at his performance at all and you’ll be shocked how blackly pure his music is. This show will be one of his rare appearances in the UK.
