A founding member of the influential New Lost City Ramblers in the late 1950s, Tom Paley has long been a key figure on the folk scene. He played with Woody Guthrie and Leadbelly in his youth, and taught Ry Cooder and Jerry Garcia. Bob Dylan cites him as a major influence. On his latest album, "Tom Paley's Old-Time Moonshine Revue", Tom recorded with several up-and-coming British folk musicians, who accompany him on this tour. With Robin Gillan on fiddle and harmonica, Jason Steel on guitar and dobro and Jonny Bridgwood on bass, this promises to be a rollicking evening of fun and lively old-timey music. Tom himself will be showcasing his well-renowned talents on vocals, guitar and banjo as well as his wicked sense of humour.
