Keith and Julie Tippett are acknowledged as two of the most distinctive and original musicians in jazz and improvised music. In their fifth decade of marriage and making music together they perform an evening of spontaneous composition, the architecture being complete only when the last note has drifted into silence.
Lithuanian multi-reeds player/composer Liudas Mockūnas conjures extraordinary sounds from the bass saxophone, performing a special duet with Estonian guitarist/free improviser Jaak Sooäär – an explosive mixture of free jazz and edgy interaction from the Baltic.
