This programme’s selection spans themes of estrangement, voyeurism, coveted love, the hope and despair in human life in the metropolis. From the director’s of CATFISH and narrated by Tom Waits comes ‘A Brief History of John Baldessari’, alongside ‘Rite’ nominated for Best Short Film at BAFTA Scotland and winner of Sundance’s Short Filmmaking Award. ‘The Black Balloon’, winner of Special Jury Mention at Tribeca Film Festival ‘ Café Regular’, and winner of over 50 international awards, ‘Auf Der Streke (On the Line)’.
