Blackbeard's Tea Party - Halloween gig @ Stereo York

If there's one thing that Blackbeard's Tea Party like more than fancy dress, it's Halloween fancy dress! That's why - on All Hallows Eve, Wednesday 31st October - York's premier folk rock band are hosting a very special Halloween party at Stereo, Gillygate, York. Dressing up is a must, and spooky surprises are guaranteed.

With their dark take on classic folk songs and tunes, and a loud and distorted electric sound, the band plan to create an epic soundscape which will be the perfect accompaniment for York's Halloween festivities.

All six members of the band will adopt Halloween fancy dress for the evening, and encourage the audience to do the same. There will be special halloween drinks available for all those in fancy dress, and the band will be awarding a prize for the best outfit.

Support for the evening comes from West Yorkshire band The Sail Pattern - playing a raucous broadside of folk - as well as Jacques and the Giants, playing their own brand of energetic alternative indie music.
