Continuing our Supper Club programme celebrating Middle Eastern food, Sarah al-Hamad will be leading an 'Arabian High Chai' on:
Sunday 11th November, 3-6pm
The Arabian High Chai will include specially selected teas, cakes and savoury nibbles. Guests will have the opportunity to watch Sarah cook and learn about the ingredients typically used in Kuwaiti and Syrian cuisine.
The event will take place in a secret West London location, to be disclosed on booking. Upon making your booking please send an email to reception@mosaicrooms.org so that we can provide you with the supper club address.
Sarah al-Hamad is a writer, photographer, home cook and the author of Cardamom and Lime: Recipes from the Arabian Gulf (New Holland). Growing up in Kuwait, some of her earliest memories are of her aunt's bustling kitchen and her dad eating dates with buttermilk. Her passion for learning about cultures through food is revealed in her new book Sun Bread and Sticky Toffee: Date Desserts from Everywhere, to be published in Spring 2013 (Interlink Books).
