Partly Faithful-London band very much echoing the post punk vibes of Closer era Joy Div, The Cure from that period too, malevoent dubby basslines recall Bauhaus. Deeply atmospheric stuff. The Pyramid Ship-Takes the good ol drum and bass 2 piece template and gets a ferocius groove on, somewhere between Led Zep and The Dead Weather and there's a bit of T-Rex too, good tunes, decent players.BlackLight Pioneer-A very British Sea Power type gushing, rushing indie rock drenched with drama, soaring vox and spidery neo prog guitars- have that kind of sound nailed it must be said, and end up sounding not unlike The Chameleons meets White Lies.
