Be Prepared for...
Loscil - Vancouver's Scott Morgan's organic feeling minimal electronica has been a mainstay of Kranky's roster for more than a decade. This is computer music that feels human. Whilst still quiet, his new album Sketches From New Brighton, is subtly dynamic and rich on detail - sometimes tense, sometimes hopeful, sometimes melancholy, sometimes sinister.
Loscil practices the art of the aural womb. This is music without sharp edges. The synth textures are warm, deep and viscous as amniot
ic fluid. pitchfork
Massive abstract shapes serenely, quietly cut across rippling rhythmic patterns, distant fog horn like sonorities ricocheting across the bay with the noirish, North Western elegance of a Badalamenti theme for Twin Peaks. boomkat.com

Pye Corner Audio- the Head Technician's crackly slow-motion electronica manages to be emotionally charged whilst maintaining its distance.
The new Sleep Games album on Ghost Box is "wonderful eerie sounds... replete with an austere yet comfortingly nostalgic outlook that no-one until now has quite done this way. " - Norman Records.

Talvihorros- Ben Chatwin creates dark, murky collages of treated guitar and electronics. He recently released his fourth album on Denovali records.
