For the answer to these and other ailments check out The Talks energetic, melodic and reggae flavoured sound". THE FLY MAGAZINE
"As someone who spent many a gig hanging around the jewel on the Humber with such eighties turns as 3 Action, The Gargoyles and of course The Housemartins, I was delighted to see The Talks in concert and realise that the flame of good music still burns bright in Hull...".. PHILL JUPITUS

The best band to come out of London since The Who - Chiswick Chronicle
The best support band I have seen - Yoshi - here to see Underground Heroes, Barfly, September
The Kings Arms hasn't rocked like this in the ten tears I've owned it - Shaun Gray, Owner
Me and my friends saw you at Camden Rock the other day and you were a great surprise. The other bands were good, but you really rocked the place. Every single instrument and the vocals were amazing. Congrats on that guys - Cesar Cruz

JADE HOPCROFT
Her powerful, show-stopping voice combined with her superbly crafted, immediate song-writing makes her a formidable live performer. Jade has performed at The Great Escape, The Station Sessions at St Pancras International and taped a session for Daytrotter, which was broadcast live on their website. She was PRS Magazine's "Artist Of The Week" (30 July) and tastemaker blogs such as The Drunken Warewolf and Killing Moon have already lent their support to this talented young artist. "Compelling on first, second and tenth listen" said the latter, and it's surely only a matter of time before this sentiment spreads further afield. Her debut single 'Saint' out Nov 19th via Laissez Faire Club.

They have supported artists such as Get Cape, Frank Turner and Nizlopi and have four seperate releases under their belt. In the last two years they have created 'Postcards from nowhere', an album that epitomises their folk/hiphop style. Catchy hooks and beautiful melodies are hung under the socially conscious lyrical energy from Arji.
