PAMELA WYN SHANNON (USA) has attracted international attention with her mesmerizing pastoral folk music. Pamela's vocal style ranges from lilting sensitivity to urgent callings and her inventive modal guitar work has been described as "a tiny chamber orchestra working in unison at the end of her hands." There's an elliptical quality to her Celtic-influenced compositions which create its own time frame, rules and kingdoms and is reminiscent of the magic found in UK artifacts and psychedelic folk music. Pamela's music is a favorite of folk radio DJs around the world. She was recently featured on the BBC radio program, Celtic Heartbeat, with DJ, Frank Hennesey. Recently, while touring the UK, at Bush Hall in London, Pamela shared the stage with the legendary guitarist and inventor of the DADGAD tuning, Davy Graham. She performed at the NICK DRAKE TRIBUTE GATHERING 2004 where she was filmed and interviewd by the BBC and GERMANY's ASPEKTE documentary on Nick Drake.
LOW LOW LOW LA LA LA LOVE LOVE LOVE (UK) Lush Americana from Manchester based band just in the process of releasing their 2nd album, Ends of June, on American label Other Electricities.
