Tropical Mauritian Christmas - 9pm Sitting

We've teamed up with the brilliant Yummy Choo Eats (who makes food to make you smile) to bring you a Tropical Christmas Dinner on the 19th December.

For one night only, Yummy Choo Supperclub and Ben's Canteen are joining forces to host the 'Yummy Choo Tropical Wonderland', a night filled with sunshine and spice... fancy dress optional but 'tres' cool if you do.

This menu is bursting with new flavours for you to experience and includes Mauritian 'Gajacks' (street food starters) and chutneys, spicy and warming Goat Curry, Pumpkin Fricasse and Fish Vindaye for the mains and sweet treats including Pain Perdu and Rum Banane. Everything on offer represents pure unadulterated Mauritian food heaven!

Tickets cost £30 and include 2 free drinks - there will be two sittings, one at 7pm and one at 9pm. Food will be served supperclub style, i.e. everybody at the same time, so don't be late!

- Festive Rum Punch

- Trio of Gajacks (Street Food)

(Split Pea Gateaux Piement, Aubergine Bringele and Chicken Poppers, served with Chutneys and Tropical Slaw.)

- Goat Curry, Fish Vindaye Skewers, Pumpkin Fricasse with Rice and Farata

(Mauritian spiced Goat Curry. Pickled Mustard Fish with Chilli & Onion. Sweet Pumpkin.)

- Pain Perdu, Rum Banane and Coconut Ice Cream

(French Toast. Caramelised Rum Bananas.)

- Tropical Hot Toddy

This is for the 9pm sitting, please don't be late as food will be served in a supper club style, i.e. everyone is served at the same time.

The bar will be open before and after your meal, so you're very welcome to hang out and soak up the Tropical atmosphere.
