A night that will cross musical boundaries and genres in beautiful ways, all in the intimate surrounds of the Port Mahon, in the heart of East Oxford.

Von Braun
The great guitar bands of the 90s had a huge screeching lo-fi sound, and Oxford three piece Von Braun bring that sound back to life with a twenty-first century world view and an even bigger, noisier pallet to draw on. Powerful riffs, drums the feel as if the come from inside you, and vocals as dark and as intense as you can imagine. Grunge may be out of favour right now, but this band will really make you wonder why, then go back through all those classic records, whilst your ears are still ringing.

Matt Midgely
A guitar is not just six strings and a box of wood. Its and instrument that can create a myriad of percussive and resonant sounds as well as traditional strummed and plucked music. Matt is a master of all of these and uses his specially customised guitar to let every note flow beautifully. His lilting and powerful vocals counterpoint the rhythmic guitar work perfectly to create beautiful modern folk.

Toliesel (Acoustic)
Hot off opening for Spring Offensive and headlining the Jericho, the stars are aligning for this brilliant Americana collective. Beautiful harmonies and country-inflected guitar work layer beautifully over perfectly constructed pop songs. Tonight they'll be playing a special stripped back set to warm everyone up.
