The Robin Guthrie Trio (Cocteau Twins) + Mark Gardener (Ride)

Robin Guthrie was the chief sound architect of Cocteau Twins, and hisreverb-drenched guitar textures have had a significant impact on alternative music since the early '80s. Numerous acts have emulated his style, and several others -- including Felt, the Gun Club, the Veldt, Ian McCulloch, Lush, and Lift to Experience -- have enlisted his production skills.

Along with Cocteau Twins partner Simon Raymonde, Guthrie launched the Bella Union label during the '90s for splinter projects and artists they wanted to help nurture. Guthrie continued running the label during his new band Violet Indiana's late-'90s/early-2000s run.

Over the last decade he has released a series of challenging, excellent records - albums, EPs and soundtracks whilst based in France and brings his currentthree-piece band to the UK for a rare but highly anticipated tour.

Mark Gardener was the frontman of iconic shoegaze/Britpop band Ride. Since the band's demise in the late '90's he has flourished as a sought after record producer and released occasional solo records. He released the joint single 'The Places We Go' with Robin Guthrie earlier this year, a collaboration they hope to continue on this tour.
