The Gourmand's Vintage Secret Afternoon Tea

The Gourmand will be hosting the first Vintage Secret Afternoon Tea party in a secret Manchester location in February 2013.

A simply AMAZING venue in Central Manchester for our first Vintage Afternoon Tea Party... a Grade II listed former cotton mill, bursting with original features - timber beams, cast iron columns, brickwork and timber floors.

Once inside the vintage tea room, think beautifully delicate finger sandwiches in traditional English afternoon tea style, an array of home-made sweet treats, delicious scones with clotted cream and jam... and of course not forgetting your choice of Tea served in the finest bone china.

Expect a classic English afternoon in beautiful vintage surroundings with all the trimmings, and of course, some excellent company. Your afternoon tea will of course be served to a soundtrack of big band and tea dance music, and will make full use of the mini cinema projector to screen a silver screen classic for your visual delight whilst you enjoy your tea. There will be a few original vintage parlour games to enjoy should you wish to partake, or just sit back and soak up the surroundings.
