Without doubt, one of the most influential British tenor players of the contemporary period. Art's career in music began with his working on the London blues scene with the like of Jack Bruce and Alexis Korner. One of his most enduring associations however has been with the great Stan Tracey - Art played in Stan's groups over a twenty year period.
Art has also worked with many of the top American musicians on their visits to these shores such as George Coleman and Nat Adderley.
