Event information

A long awaited ode to the Cello.

We’ve got not one but three artists all worthy of headline billing. Firstly BETH PORTER AND THE AVAILABLES who took our gig booking breath way when we saw them do a tiny gig at The Port Mahon earlier last year. Beths beautiful, delicate vocals, stunning string arrangements and engaging stage presence will lift you right out of January.

Next we have the incredible LAURA MOODY. Part of the hugely respected contemporary experimental Elysian Quarted, Laura's captivating solo set became a highlight at Truck Fests' 2010 Non-Classical tent - never forgotten since. Prepare yourselves for whole new way to fall in love with the Cello.

And finally but never last or least, is the wonderful BARNEY MORSE-BROWN our local in the line up. Barney is one half of Duotone and cellist for Imagined Village & Chris Woods, and Handmade Life. He's work with loop pedals and poignant ethereal vocals complete this Irregular Folk dream come true of a night!

We've got our usual SPECIAL ALES, those fantastic James St Tavern SAUSAGE ROLLS, and a beautiful setting to - at the very least - go part way in doing justice our super exciting line up, and transporting you Springward!
