John Chantler
John Chantler is a recording artist/musician based in London, UK. He has released 2 solo albums and various limited edition items. His most recent solo record ‘The Luminous Ground‘ was #37 in The Wire Magazine’s top records of 2011. “Hearing this music for the first time has a similar impact to the first exposure to Oval’s Systemisch from 1994, or the early Sähkö recordings like Ø’s Metri, in that it has a beauty partly derived from having travelled beyond the reach of human influence” Rob Young, The WIRE (on 'The Luminous Ground')

Hobo Sonn (Ian Murphy with Eddie Nuttall of Aqua Dentata)
Densely scrawled electronics from Brighton-based Hobo Sonn, aka Ian Murphy. "It’s like a home gym for the flabby minded. It takes you back to thinking that thunder and lightning are manifestations of some god’s wrath. Relentless bashing of the hopelessly burned mind with the same joyous truth: that it is appointed unto all folks frequently to die. It’s like it’s the future, again, but this time the good guys have the biggest lasers. It’s like two fat guys welding those Japanese pet-robots on sleep depravation and over-time pay in a factory made out of sparks. An electronic anthem for the skewed viewed few.”
As Aqua Dentata, Eddie Nuttall (Baraclough) creates sounds with synths, tapes and, according to the blurb at Beartown Records, "bowed miscellany"; sounds to consume and get lost in, be they shimmering and beautiful or throbbing and fizzing...

Petrels
Petrels is London-based musician Oliver Barrett. Debut album 'Haeligewielle' was released on Tartaruga Records and re-released on vinyl by Denovali Records; combining bowed strings, discarded electronics, sporadic percussion and occasional vocals; "frighteningly claustrophobic but exultant in a beautifully understated way... monstrous arvo part-isms and peter wright destructo-drones. and with similar tropes can come across like richard skelton on steroids." (cowsarejustfood).

Max Bondi
Max Bondi is an electronic musician and owner/founder of Tartaruga Records. He recently released his second album under his own name - 'Convolution' - on Tartaruga Records (which was album of the week on Boomkat and Fluid Audio), described as uncompromising machine music, but with a melodic edge, rhythmical but irregular, ‘electrical’ rather than electronic. "A totally fucking incredible record... Masterful in ways that are beyond me... A record this fucking good only comes around once in a long while" (Anti-Gravity Bunny)

Jennifer Allum
London-based violinist specialising in experimental and improvised music. 'Penumbrae' - an album with drummer and percussionist Eddie Prevost - was released on Matchless Recordings in 2011.

Joe Evans
Winchester-based composer and musician, Joe is also the founder of Running On Air records. "The first five minutes of this album are a bit like what, I imagine, it must feel like to be hypnotised then slowly, ever so slowly, have an electric voltage pumped into your body. Each shock slightly more powerful than the last. From a mere uncomfortable tickle to the full force of a high voltage surge the senses are pushed to the limit."

Hákarl
"I didn't realise you did THAT. My daughter left the room screaming" Professor Gavin D'Costa, Senior reader in Catholic Theology, University of Bristol.

Kostoglotov
Kostoglotov is the London based bedroom recording project of Daryl Worthington. He writes and records lo-fi, ambient and drone music using a combination of Dictaphone, 4-track and laptop. His music has been compared to Windy and Carl, Vangelis, Mark Mcguire, and most unexpectedly, the soundtrack to old He-man cartoons.
