What the Cellar loves about being a totally independent venue is that we can push out that boat as far as we want. We felt it's high time that we have a night dedicated to music that music that's far from the beaten track.

Petrels
Petrels' awe inspiring debut Haeligewielle, is aptly summed up by Fluid Radios' fantastic review "a swirling cataract of a record, a deluge of beautiful noise and crushing melody, which ebbs and flows beneath the surface."

His use of various objects from from electronics to cassettes, contact mics to circuit bent keyboards create such an infectious soundscape, sharp, clever and not without a wonder dash of wit.
