Join Thank Folk For That for their next live night at The Castle, Manchester

On February 28th, we are very excited to welcome Eliza And The Bear as our headliner!

With a catchy blend of folk, indie and rock, Eliza And The Bear are a five-piece from Essex with a sound that mixes the best of Dry The River, Of Monsters And Men and Dancing Years.

Their 2012 single, 'Brother’s Boat' automatically made them a favourite at TFFT - it is one of those tracks that makes you sit up and realise something special has just come on. With heart-warming lyrics and harmonies, accompanied by some anthemic and powerful brass, culminating in a storming crescendo, it is a blinder of a recording.

Moreover, their upcoming double A-side 'Upon The North / The Southern Wild' proves that Eliza And The Bear are set for great things and are one of the best upcoming bands to see live.

In addition, we will be joined by solo-singer and Communion favourite, David McCaffrey. Though still a teenager, David has supported the likes of David Ford, Benjamin Francis Leftwich and Slow Club, as well as featuring at Green Man Festival. He also released his self-titled EP to much acclaim late last year, and is certainly set for a wondrous 2013.

And last, but certainly not least, local outfit The Wax Collection will be taking to the TFFT stage. This mellow quartet certainly induce that relaxed feel good vibe for all those who cross their musical path. Their dreamy vocals and sun drenched tunes cause rise to this statement and with distinctive guitar rhythms at the back bone of each track and the odd tambourine and electro injection, you can’t help but like this band.

This is set be a wonderful and very eclectic night of live music - best grab a ticket, before they're all gone!
